The 2014 Spring AutoFair at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina was yet again a gigantic feast of everything that is automotive. Claimed to be the world’s biggest automotive extravaganza it was filled with vendors, cars, and football fields worth of swap meet stuff. Since the show is part car history exhibit, part swap meet, and part car show, we decided to pick the 10 best types of things we spotted over the weekend and show you our favorite from each category. The show normally starts on Thursday with vendors wrapping up Sunday afternoon. We started early on Thursday to find some of the best deals and spotted some of the best cars on Saturday. Here’s a list of our 10 favorite things.
This 1968 Holman and Moody Torino Cobra had been sitting for 32 years in storage until Man Made Legends of Davidson, North Carolina recently snagged it. According to the shop it raced at the now abandoned Metrolina Speedway in Concord, North Carolina after a stint in the Grand National circuit (one of the top divisions in NASCAR at the time). Luckily the shop is not selling it, but plan on returning it to its former racing glory.
